Electric VLSI layout editor.
Electric is a VLSI layout editor, developed by Fairchild, originaly.
Now, it is free, under the GNU license. It is more advanced
than magic, and also contain synthesis tool.
Electric is now a free VLSI layout editor distribuated under under GNU license.
It is better than MAGIC and LASI, and contains documentation.
Commercial licenses are given from Static Free Software, by Steven M. Rubin.
The standard software license (within binary), does not allow any work produced by
the software (elib, readable text, exported files etc.)
copied for not free use.
(But the commercials, sold from
Static

homepage, does.)
